AMC LIQUIDATORS SupportED The 9th Annual Rebuilding Together Day
South Florida-based Liquidation Company donated home furnishings to 14 area homes and local church
LAUDERHILL, FL (May 5, 2008) – Michael Grimmé, CEO of AMC Liquidators, a prominent furniture retailer and liquidation company based in Fort Lauderdale, proudly participated in The 9th Annual Rebuilding Together Day by delivering new home furnishings to families in need free of charge on April 26, 2008 in the St. George neighborhood of Lauderhill.
Grimmé and the AMC Liquidators staff, along with more than 30 local and national corporations and service organizations and more than 280 volunteers from across the county, dedicated an entire day to providing free home improvements to benefit 14 area low-income homeowners and a local church – including improvements and repairs in electrical work, plumbing, roofing, carpentry, painting, kitchen renovations and appliance repairs. AMC Liquidators donated $250 gift cards to each of these homeowners, allowing them to refurbish their home décor and delivered the furniture free of charge during the day.
“As a business, we are only as strong as the community around us,” said Michael Grimmé, CEO of AMC Liquidators. “That is why projects like the Annual Rebuilding Together Day are so important. It is a pleasure and an honor to be a part of a program that gives back to families in need.”
