SOLD! Pre-Owned Pik-Quik Machine

Make: Chicago
Model: Pik-Quik Laundry Seperator
Condition: Pre-owned
Serial Number: 50654 9/02
Price: $25,000

Pik-Quik is a unique and rugged compact unit that automatically separates tangled laundry loads and presents separated items directly to feeding/ironing equipment operators. Work loads can be separated from laundry carts or conveyors which feed extracted, partially conditioned, or dried work to Pik-Quik. Linen can also be separated directly from pressed "cakes" processed by a water extraction press, thereby eliminating the tumbler operation.

Separated linen is discharged from Pik-Quik's rear chute or optional rapid exit conveyor to a locally supplied table, cart, or distribution conveyor. Pik-Quik's flexible and compact separating platform can be adapted to fit into any laundry, regardless of size. Streamlined linen flow, swift investment payback, and the improvement of working conditions through elimination of one of a laundry's toughest jobs make Pik-Quik a valuable performer in any high production facility.

AMC Liquidators gets featured in the South Florida Business Journal

Former oil trader thrives as furniture liquidator
South Florida Business Journal - by Kevin Gale
The economic downturn is providing a fresh business opportunity for Michael Grimmé, CEO of AMC Liquidators. With designers and furniture retailers struggling, the Fort Lauderdale entrepreneur is filling up trailers with merchandise for resale, he said. "We are able to buy retail, first-grade goods inexpensively - in some cases cheaper than we were able to buy pre-owned goods in the past." Grimmé already had a 45,000-square-foot warehouse and retail location on Commercial Boulevard, but has bought the Carriage Trade consignment business on Las Olas Boulevard to directly target consumers seeking high-end merchandise.

AMC Lquidators helps rebuild

AMC LIQUIDATORS SupportED The 9th Annual Rebuilding Together Day
South Florida-based Liquidation Company donated home furnishings to 14 area homes and local church

LAUDERHILL, FL (May 5, 2008) – Michael Grimmé, CEO of AMC Liquidators, a prominent furniture retailer and liquidation company based in Fort Lauderdale, proudly participated in The 9th Annual Rebuilding Together Day by delivering new home furnishings to families in need free of charge on April 26, 2008 in the St. George neighborhood of Lauderhill.

Grimmé and the AMC Liquidators staff, along with more than 30 local and national corporations and service organizations and more than 280 volunteers from across the county, dedicated an entire day to providing free home improvements to benefit 14 area low-income homeowners and a local church – including improvements and repairs in electrical work, plumbing, roofing, carpentry, painting, kitchen renovations and appliance repairs. AMC Liquidators donated $250 gift cards to each of these homeowners, allowing them to refurbish their home décor and delivered the furniture free of charge during the day.

“As a business, we are only as strong as the community around us,” said Michael Grimmé, CEO of AMC Liquidators. “That is why projects like the Annual Rebuilding Together Day are so important. It is a pleasure and an honor to be a part of a program that gives back to families in need.”
